2010 Program Launched!
We have launched our 13th year of The Scholars Program and 6th year of Florida's Young Scholars by contacting Principals and Teachers around the Sunshine State and asking them to submit to us the names of their best and brightest. Only teachers may nominate a student to be a Florida's Young Scholar. The Nomination Deadline is March 10, 2010. Teachers: To nominate a student online click here. to view.

Marlins to honor Scholars again!
The Florida Marlins will again team with Florida's Young Scholars to honor the best and brightest of Florida. We have finalized our date. Scholars will be honored on Sunday, July 18th before the Marlins play the Washington Nationals. We will make tickets available for sale ON THIS WEBSITE beginning May 1st. Remember: only Scholars who purchase their tickets through Florida's Young Scholars receive the Field Pass to participate in the ceremonies. Our annual day with the Florida Marlins was another success. We had a huge crowd come on July 19th. Scholars were honored on the warning track. Even a Marlin loss could not damper the day! Thanks to all and we hope you had a good time. The Marlins were kind enough to provide us with two videos from the day. This is the feed that appeared on the big-screen scoreboard.
